Overview Tales From The Unending Void Season 1:
Tales From The Unending Void Season 1 There’s an arcade-y feel to the gameplay that viscerally draws you in from the very beginning. The combat flows in a way that (to me) may actually outshine Doom 2016’s in some places, and yet it’s also pure chaos. Enemies crunch and gib all over the place and there are plenty of creative ways to use the level design and physics to your advantage. The enemy design and difficulty strikes a perfect balance between mindless power fantasy slaughter fest and having to use some strategy. I recommend playing on hard or above. Lastly, as has been pointed out by other reviews, the weapon upgrade system is not very exciting. All you can do at each weapons terminal is refill your ammo and unlock a unique power attack for each gun. A system that took some inspiration from Doom would be perfect for a game like this. Here’s to hoping we one day get a sequel that can incorporate more modern game design concepts. Bulletstorm is an absolute blast of a game. Revolving around finding interesting and new ways to kill enemies to earn points, which is then used to upgrade your arsenal and buy ammo. This sounds amazing in theory, and it is, but the “upgrades” are pretty bland, mostly involving adding a secondary fire to your weapons, and upgrading charges on it. I feel like this could have been way more fleshed out and given us more options to use our points.
